Jeans Do Not Go Under Dresses
My peripheral vision sees long hair and I turn to look. She’s cute. Nice eyes. Slight smile like the day’s turning out better than expected. Light green dress over… jeans. Loser.
What the hell is up with chicks wearing jeans under their dresses? It has to be one of the lamest fashion elements. Ever. I don’t care how hot you are, you will always be lame. Not adorable. Lame.
I hope the girl learns this because the only reason I’m remembering her now is because her choice of clothing irritated me for most of the day.

Amen. If your dress is short, wear a pair of tights/stockings. If your dress is long, you shouldn’t need such things at all. And if you want to wear that dress in cold weather, either suck it up or don’t wear it all.
However, your last link is slightly off. Those are fashion jumpers are made ridiculously short (as opposed to the sort of uniform jumper I wore in school) for the sole purpose of being worn with jeans/”fashion shorts.” They aren’t long enough to be worn otherwise.

Hmm… Well they might not want to wear that last one out in public but it would be pretty hot around the house. :)
And yes, in cold weather just wear the jeans please ladies!

Wow! When did you become the fashion guru? Been watching episodes of What Not To Wear or something? I mean that Stacey London is hot and all, but I have seen her rock the dress over jeans thing, so did she do something to piss you off?
Well, here’s my opinion, as the actual fashionista here…a dress that is so short it’s debatable it could be a shirt (like the last example), by all means wear it over jeans. Nobody wants to see my thirty-something arse hanging out of a short dress! A dress that’s a dress…some people can rock that look, but I have learned that I am not one of them. Also, leggings…blech! I rocked those in the early nineties. What a wicked sense of humor Fashion has in bringing them back!
