Privacy Versus Security
I am a big advocate of privacy and security, and I don’t see why we can’t have both at the same time. However, this picture (found buried on Confined Space) seems to be the way much of the feudal lords in the federal government see things.

You are correct: there is *no valid reason* we can’t have both; but, as you point out, that ain’t the way it’s going down.
