Nomadic Tendencies

I’ve moved around all my life. I’ve been here in San Francisco for almost nine years, which is more than twice anywhere else. Sometimes I itch to move, other times I just don’t think about it. I did find this quote, though, that epitomizes one of the reasons I get the itch.

“This is the problem with staying in a place too long. You come as a tourist, but give it a few days, and you’ll start seeing all the dirt you thought you left behind in the last town.” Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, The Valley of White Petals.

So true, so true. The only issue is sometimes you bring the dirt with you…
