The Longest Commute

How was your commute to work today? I think I just had the longest commute of my life. This morning I got up at 4AM PST and took a plane from Austin, TX to SFO, and then a shuttle in to work. I was a little late, but I think that’s alright.

Now I’m a walking zombie. You know that pain you can get right behind your eyes when you don’t get enough sleep? gTodd calls them little nails. I’ve had that since about noon. Once the laundry is done I’m hitting the sack. Meanwhile I’m going to catch up on some posting.

Screw the laundry, get some sleep. I know the feeling well, just reading this post is making my eyes water and my temples throb. When you feel like that, your body is trying to tell you something.

In fact, it’s late here on the east coast. I’m off to bed. Hope you feel better on Wednesday.

p.s. - your rss feed has post times (at least according to Bloglines), but your story template doesn’t. I vote for adding the post time to your story template.

p.p.s. - yes, I know you’re on Wordpress now, but I’ll bet you translated from Blosxom-speak (”story template”) automatically.

I did, in fact, get some brilliant sleep last night! Strange dreams but good none-the-less.

There was no “translation” when you said “story template” because that’s just the language I use now. I’m sure I’ll confuse any Wordpress users when I use it, but that’s life.

Where would you put the time stamp?
