Twenty Four, Season One
Twenty Four is a pretty wild ride. Poor Jack has a most harrowing day fighting bad guys who are trying to exact revenge for past wrongs, and they will try to win at any cost.
The story is suprisingly tight and flows well for covering a 24 hour period. I had misgivings that the time factor would come across strangely when I first heard the premise for the show. My only suprising criticism of the show is the constant and unending use of cell phones. It would be interesting to see someone take the time to figure out how much time people spend on the phone. I’m willing to bet money that for the 24 hours Jack is on the phone a good 20% of the time.

Smudge Eye
It’s funny how the human mind can see things in the patterns, shapes and forms that have nothing to do with what we see.
This picture is of a smudge on a bathroom door where I work. It looks like an eye, complete with eyebrow, eyelashes, and makeup.
Interestingly enough some “primitive” peoples would see this eye instantly, yet shown a photograph of themselves they wouldn’t see anything at all except a swirl of patterns, shapes and forms.

Return of the iBook
It’s back! Yeehaw! They didn’t reformat, everything looks good, it only took ten minutes to download all my mail, and I’ve started trying to catch up with email I’ve neglected because I put it off till I got it back.
Such a bloody relief to have it back…

Richmond Henty
When I lived in Prague my best friend was Richmond Henty. After moving back to the States I soon lost track of him. Over the years I’ve wanted -and still want- to get in touch with him but could not manage it as the name “Richmond Henty” is a common hotel chain in the British Empire.
The last I heard he was in New Zealand with his girlfriend. He is originally from Canberra, Australia and went to school studying architecture in Sydney. If anyone happens to read this and knows him or knows of a better way of searching for him than Google please drop me a line… contact info is in my Resume. Thanks.
