This is a general historical outline for a world building project of mine.

- Neighboring planet’s moon destroyed in war there.
- The “gods” are some fluid entities with hive minds.
- The “gods†(exiles from the destroyed moon) find refuge on the planet.
- A meteor impact (from destroyed moon).
- most of the Elvish population escapes to the Moon.
- Geological disaster.
- Prolonged nuclear winter.
- As an assurance, some Elves depart in ships to find other planets to settle.
- Nanites start permeating Earth.
- Civilization on Moon.
- Moves steadily away from science/technology and towards religion/spirituality.
- Nanites permeate Moon. Elves evolve ability to control Nanites unaided.
- Because of lower gravity, Elves evolve taller.
- Because the Moon is mostly vegetation, Elves evolve and revolve their culture around it.
- On Earth, continents drift apart.
- Human and Ghaul populations begin to specialize.
- Humans remaining much as expected.
- Ghauls evolve great strength and blood need.
- Some few evolve ability to mentally control Nanites.
- Human and Ghaul populations begin to specialize.
- Primitive humanity begins to worship the “godsâ€.
- The “gods” start to adapt to Humanity’s image of them.
- Elves do not worship these “gods”.
- Fate of Elves on the Earth.
- On the “magic” continent, Elves revert to a feral state, specialize and evolve along different paths.

- Elves on the Human continent are bred in.
- Elvish genes slightly change nature of certain bloodlines.
- A few Elvish clans remain isolated, grow more feral.
- On the Ghaul continent, Elves are eradicated.
- Ghaulish mythology mentions them.
- On the “magic” continent, Elves revert to a feral state, specialize and evolve along different paths.
- A Gate is discovered on the Moon.
- Interest in Science rises, but controversy ensues.
- Luddites persecute the dangerous “sect” and drive them to the Earth, then destroy the Gate.
- The refugees become “High” Elves.
- The High Elves (returners from Moon) teach those on their continent.
- Various wars erupt between the magical races eventually “unifying†the continent.
- Human and Elves reestablish contact.
- Tentative trade and exchanges, with some wars.
- Contact is made between Ghaul and Human.
- Mostly fighting.
- Twin “gods†are born, the first of their kind.
- Because of their hive nature, the twins polarize the “gods”.
- A War of the Gods ensues.
- The “gods” using Humans and Ghauls to fight.
- The “gods” draw the Elvish populations into the fight.
- Human and Ghaulish cultures mostly destroyed. Elvish civilization not much better.
- Dark Ages.
- The “gods†withdraw from direct contact with their “peoples†and most seem to vanish.
- A few become centers for various cultures, such as the case of Nike and Praha.
