Installing Blosxom’s Login Plugin
I’ve written a tutorial on how to install and configure the login plugin for Blosxom.
UPDATE 2006.09.29: Though originally published here, this article has since moved to The Unofficial Blosxom Users Group.

thank you ?
You saved not only my day, but what seems like weeks. I just couldn’t get it to work and now by just following your directions it suddently does.. I almost trashed blosxom altogether as password-protection is a must for me.- dugh says (January 1st, 1970 at 08:00:00 )
you’re very welcome. i know setting up blosxom can be a mind bender sometimes. the community can be very helpful getting things started but sometimes it’s good to just have things set up and not figure things out as they go wrong…

the blosxom community can be very helpful, but many times they assume everyone is an expert in PERL and their help keeps going over the poor person seeking help’s head. It’s happened to me too many times.

It’s happened to me many times, too…
And for better or worse I still don’t know Perl. That’s one reason I’ve written this tutorial and run The Unofficial Blosxom User Group; I’m really just a user of Blosxom and want to find ways of helping other users.
