firefly

though when i first heard of this show i thought it was going to be a poor live action rip off of cowboy bebop, i am happy to find it an excellent show. takes place in a future very much like the wild west. sounds mildly hoakie, but the show is so character driven and so well written you don’t notice. great stuff. hopefully fox doesn’t kill it like they did space: above and beyond.

(later note) fox did, indeed, kill the show proving that they are bloody idiots. at least they will release the whole series on DVD…
